My husband gave me a gift certificate for a manicure for Christmas and today, I went to get pretty pink nails. I ALWAYS choose pink. It was quite the experience - starting with the lady talking on her cell on speaker while clipping my unruly cuticles. She was talking to a family member in Vietnam. Normally this would be on my pet-peeve list: Bad customer service...but not this time, this time was different. Her story was so intriguing to me, who was she talking to? What were they talking about? It sounded important but every once in awhile they would both pause and laugh! When they ended their loving phone conversation she continually told me to buy american as I was leaving. And that was that.
