Summer Hair on a Saturday - Saltwater Edition

IMG_1798
To celebrate the first week of summer, I wanted to kick off my Saturday series, Summer Hair. Hair that will be styled beautifully without any heat at all! Doesn't that sound lovely? In WI, we have been having 95 degree days alongside humidity.. there is no way I am pulling out the curling iron until next fall, (but I'm not making any promises!)

This is one of my favorite ways to wear my hair in the summer, my hair is pretty straight naturally with a strange wave at the bottom, it needs some help. I make a bottle of salt water solution and then keep it near my hairspray when I need some extra texture.
Here's how you can make your own!

Please share photos if you do this. What is your favorite way to wear your hair in the summer?

So pretty! I've never though to just spray salt water into my hair, it's a great idea. Thanks for sharing!

Oh this is a really good idea. I'm not allowed to style with heat often yet (Grrr, Mom!), so I'll definitely be using this :)

I use sea salt spray too, though mine's not homemade! Love the beachy waves.. mine don't turn out as nicely as yours! xo

Wow, that's lovely! My hair is kind of a pain. . . I'm growing it out, but it's still decently short and very thick! It's always nice to not have to worry about straightening it though :)

That is the essence of science: ask an impertinent question, and you are on the way to the pertinent answer.
