Crocheted Headband

IMG_9743 IMG_9740 IMG_9746 IMG_9741
Headband: crocheted by sister, Sweater: Francesca's Collections, Dress: H&M, Shoes: f21, Necklace: Eddie Bauer

My sister and I have been wearing these headbands non-stop since we made them. I can't really call this a DIY because it is too easy. If you know how to crochet then all these are a bunch of chains. We double crocheted some of them to add more texture and the wrapped them several times.

**Disclaimer if you live in a conservative town where the typical uniform is a sweatshirt and jeans then you will more than likely get strange looks for this headband. But in said town, you will get strange looks for wearing, well anything other than listed above. For a girl with only colored jeans, it's a hard knock life.

So true. I think any headwear other than a baseball cap gets the side eye around here. You look adorable, though!

Weird question, how do you keep the hair in back from not puffing out? Whenever I try the headband on top of the hair thing, the back of my hair ends up all loose and messy. Maybe that's part of the look.

Make me oneeeeeeeee, plz. I love it! P.s. When I first opened your page, I thought it said "Crocheted Husband". I was expecting to see Jamie completely covered in crocheted stuff.

I know what you mean about getting weird looks for not wearing the denim/fleece/camo-print trend... Keep sticking to your own style though, because it's lovely! :)
